Michael Rosenvold succeeds Robert Arpe, who has served on the Board since April 2018 – and as Chair since June 2020.
Having served on the Board for eight years, Robert Arpe has reached the Foundation’s age limit of 72 and will step down. Robert has been instrumental in shaping the Foundation’s strategy and impact, overseeing the adoption of the Foundation’s first full ownership strategy in 2024 and the philanthropy strategy in 2025. Prior to his role as Chair, Robert served as Managing Director of Ramboll Denmark and Ramboll UK (2008–2016).
Being on the Ramboll Foundation Board has been one of the greatest privileges of my career, and I have enjoyed every single moment. I leave the Foundation with a feeling of gratitude and pride.
Michael Rosenvold previously served as CFO of the Ramboll Group from 2008 to 2017. With his long tenure at Ramboll and extensive external board experience, Michael is well placed to lead the Foundation going forward.
The Ramboll Foundation’s purpose of being the best owner of Ramboll is very close to my heart, and I really look forward to continuing my work on the Board, now as Chair.
